Delete your account and data
You can permanently delete your Exchange Connect account and the personal data tied to it at any time — directly in the app. Here's how, what gets removed, and what (if anything) we keep.
How to delete your account in the app
- Open the Exchange Connect app and sign in.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and data are deleted right away — this can't be undone.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we remove:
- Your login / account — you can no longer sign in.
- Your profile and profile photo.
- Your board posts and any photos attached to them.
- Your saves (the people and posts you liked) and your matches.
- Your Instagram / TikTok handles.
- The blocks and reports you created.
What we may keep, and for how long
We delete the data above immediately. We may retain a limited amount of data only where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to handle safety and abuse matters (for example, a record that a report was made) — and only for as long as necessary. We do not sell your data.
Delete some data without deleting your account
You don't have to close your account to remove specific content:
- In the app: delete an individual post (and its photo) from the board, remove or change your profile photo, edit your bio, or un-save people and posts — any time.
- By email: to have us delete specific personal data without closing your whole account, email jona.fengler@gmail.com from the email address tied to your account and tell us what to remove. We action verified requests.
Can't access the app?
If you can't sign in to delete your account yourself, email jona.fengler@gmail.com from the email address tied to your account and ask us to delete it. We verify the request and delete your account and associated data.
